Though we would love to, unfortunatly we can't keep all the ponies.

We have currently adopted out all the ponies that we had for adoption! We will have more soon though so please check back.

Sweet Success Stories

Shaton was our first pony saved from the auction. We have a fund set up just for rescuing ponies from the auction and saving them from slaughter. Shaton was a beautiful black stallion but had no chance of getting adopted by anyone but the slaughter buyers because he had no training at all when we rescued him. We bred him to Savanna and then had him gelded. He has calmed down 100% since we have been working with him. We started his training in November. He now ties, clips, trailers (without trying to jump out!) and has better ground manners. Shaton is a very sweet pony but needs someone with patience. He is willing to learn but won't tolerate being pushed. He loves to go for long walks. He does well in the same pasture with other horses.

If you adopt an Angelwings pony we will teach you how to care for and ride your new pony!

Contact us if you have questions about pony adoption with Angelwings.

UPDATE:
Congratulations Holly Singleton for adopting Shaton. Shaton is going to Indiana to live with the Amish and be their transportation pulling a cart. He will be loved and spoiled! We will miss him greatly.

Toby came to Angelwings because he had a tumor on his leg and the owner couldn't afford to get it removed. We took him to the vet and had it removed successfully. My daughter Coreybeth trained him as a barrel racing pony and won 2 silver belt buckles and lot's of silver tack with him. My husband Cliff trained him to pull a cart and we took him to the Renaissance Faire to raise money for Angelwings. We retired him at 20 years old and he was
successfully adopted by the Rickon Family. Toby is teaching Amanda 7 and Christopher 10 how to ride. Toby lives on a 8 acre ranch in Placerville with his Arabian friend Barocka.
